Kiwanis Club of Issaquah does a Food Concession Stand at the Concerts on the Green concert series on every Tuesday evening in July and August with concert hours of 7:00-8:30 p.m. First concert is July 9th and the last concert is on August 27th.

Setup of the concession stand starts at 5:00 p.m. and take down starts at 8:15 p.m. Need volunteers to help with setup, cook and serve food and also help with the take down of the concession stand and put away equipment and food items.

4 Shifts

  • evening / 05:00 PM to 06:00 PM
    Set up of concession stand
  • evening / 05:45 PM to 08:15 PM
    BBQ Cooker - Need to have an updated Food Handler Card to BBQ hamburgers, hotdogs, etc.
  • evening / 06:00 PM to 08:30 PM
    Food Line Server
  • evening / 08:00 PM to 08:30 PM
    Take down of Concession Stand and put away equipment & food items
  • NONE OF THESE TIMES WORK FOR ME, BUT I CAN STILL HELP

REQUIREMENTS

  • Volunteers can sign up for a specific job opportunity as listed depending on the volunteer's availability time frame to help out. Volunteer time will be at minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 2.5 hours depending on the shift signed up for.
  • Some lifting is required in setting up tables and tent pop ups and walking up and down stairs in the storage of the food items.
