Mission Statement

The PSWMSDC mission is to grow Minority Business Enterprises by providing certification, promotion, information and resources that directly contribute to business growth. We will have a steadily increasing base of certified and engaged Minority Business Enterprises.

Description

ncorporated in 1993, the Pacific Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council is the Arizona based affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). In October 2013 our geographic reach expanded. We now cover the State of Arizona as well as San Diego County. Our organization is comprised of most of America’s publicly owned companies as well as health care institutions, universities and municipalities. We bring value to our members by identifying capable, qualified MBEs that we certify by validating the firms are at least 51% ethnic minority owned, operated and controlled. We offer the most widely accepted minority certification by Corporate America with 12,000 MBEs in our network, 460 national corporate members & over 1,300 local members. Our Council certified MBEs are impactful! They produce $10 billion in gross revenue; employ over 32,000 individuals & 38% possess a national or international footprint.
