Bereavement Volunteer Needed

Most people are familiar with hospice for the palliative care we give to our patients when they reach the end of their life. One thing a lot of people don't realize we have a whole bereavement department dedicated to keeping in touch with the families of people who have passed away.

We are in need of someone who has some past experience with the loss of a loved one, who is willing to call, and/or visit with family members after their family member has died. A lot of times, these family members just want someone who has an understanding of what they are going through to come and talk with them. Whether it be to ask for advice on how to deal with grief, or just share stories.

If you are someone who is very open and looking to help someone out that is going through a rough time please let me know. We would love to have you, and I know families would love to meet with you.
