We are looking for experienced step team coaches (Greek experience is welcomed) to serve as Coaches for the SoulDeevas' Step Team. You will be working with a new team talented and growing group of girls in grades 6 to 12.
We need someone who can jump in immediately and who can make the commitment for a season (September to June) - ideally, someone who can start now will also be good as we will be planning for the new season over the summer. This work can be done virtually. They rehearse for three Fridays out of the month from 6pm to 8pm in the Downtown Section of Rahway, New Jersey (three short blocks away from the Rahway Train Station).
Individuals who have never coached, but who have participated as a stepper on a team (all grade levels or Sorority) are welcomed to apply. High school seniors with significant step experience are welcomed to apply for community service and may be able to compete depending on the event.

Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
