Are you a compassionate person that enjoys helping others? Heart to Heart Hospice of Southgate is looking for individuals who want to volunteer in their own communities by visiting hospice patients. You will be providing comfort and companionship to those who are at the end stage of their life. Your time and talent will provide comfort, care, and distraction from their daily routine and diagnosis. Volunteers may be visiting nursing homes, and/or private residences. Some patients will want to play cards, talk about sports, watch tv, and simply learn about you. We look forward to having you become part of the Heart to Heart Hospice team.

Description
Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
