To offer support to cancer patients and their caregivers undergoing active treatment. The volunteer’s primary focus is always good service for our patients and guests, consistently offering kind and compassionate care. Volunteers work closely with the Infusion Center staff, as well as independently.
Job Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors as they arrive
- Light rounding with patients (offering snacks, blankets, comfort items, etc.)
- Clean pillows with Cavicide wipes, wearing gloves
- Replace pillow covers just prior to bed use by patient
- Clean pod spaces with Cavicide wipes and reset
- Restock supplies in patient pods
- Pull patient blood pressure cuffs
- Restock kitchen area
- Review and straighten waiting rooms
- Build charts

- We are looking for someone to commit to a 4 hour shift (10a-2p) at least one day per week. We ask that our volunteers give at least 50 hours in a 12 month period.
- Medical approval needed through our Employee Health department.
