The Salsa Festival will be a fun event with Live Salsa Music, dancing with lots of Eco-Friendly activities and education. The Festival is in partnership with the Ecology Center's Farmers" Market and will showcase the the fresh produce with food demos, salsa (food) competitions and wine and beer from sustainable growers. The focus of the event is to showcase the programs and activities of the Ecology Center

The event needs about 20-25 volunteers. The shifts are from 9:30-12:30 and 12:30-3:30 with several opportunities to chose from. Working at the recycle fashion selfie booth, selling beverage tickets, helping with set up and tear down. raffle ticket sales, support at booths.

Founded in 1969, the Ecology Center is a nonprofit organization located in Berkeley, California that focuses on improving the health and the environmental impacts of urban residents. Our services include farmers’ markets, produce stands, residential curbside recycling, classes and workshops, Y outh Environmental Academy, help desk and hotline, book & DVD library and seed library, store for sustainable living, and a demonstration house and garden.
