Hello everyone! We are in desperate need for some Spanish speaking volunteers! A lot of our patients speak Spanish, and we would love to be able to get people who are comfortable speaking Spanish to go and socialize with them. The majority of what you would be doing is companionship. Being in a nursing home and going through hospice can be rough. It cheers our patients up when they can just sit and talk, or have a book read to them or even play a game. Please let us know if you are interested.

In order to get started there are a few steps that we must take. (1)A background check must be completed, and (2) a TB test needs to be done. We do complimentary TB tests here in the offices, so don't worry about having to go to a doctor to get one. (3) After the background check and TB test clears, we do an orientation and training and then you will be good to go!
