Food Pickup Helper for The Salvation Army (Oceanside)

Position Title: Food Pickup Helper
Reports To: Divisional Volunteer Center
Purpose/Goal of Position: To support the Oceanside Corps Community Center in picking up food donations, along with staff, from various grocery stores. This position will also be moving food boxes from the truck to the building and weighing boxes and documenting weight.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries as required and appropriate.
- Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse staff and guests.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. numerous times through out shift.
- Assist with pickups donations to the Corps
Duration: Minimum of 3-6 month commitment
Available Schedules:Day's: Monday-Friday (only one day per week required,Mon, Thur., Fri priority)
Time: 8 am to 11 am
