compassion

Alomega Hospice is looking for volunteers to ease boredom, loneliness, and social isolation. To make life just a little bit brighter. There are wonderful people who need your kindness and support. You can do this by sharing conversations, playing board games, holding a hand, or just simply reading to patients. Not sure if you can help? Everyone has something to offer, we will help you find that something. We will train all volunteers. Most of the volunteers visit the patients at their place of residence to provide companionship. And we also have administrative, bereavement, spiritual, and music volunteers. We will match your skill with the needs of the patient to provide and add quality to each their lives on an individual basis.
