WHAT: St. Louis Area community members will fight world hunger through a partnership with nonprofit Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).
WHO: 1,200 St. Louis Area volunteers will make a difference by packing 272,160 meals with their own two hands in just one day.
WHEN: August 17 th, 2019 - 4 SHIFTS TO CHOOSE FROMSETUP SHIFT: 9:00AM - 11:00AM
PACKING SHIFT 1: 11:30AM - 1:30 PM
PACKING SHIFT 2: 2:30PM - 4:30PM
CLEANUP SHIFT: 4:30PM - 7:00PM
WHERE: Queeny Park Greensfelder Recreation Complex - 550 Weidman Road, Ballwin, MO 63011
HOW: Community members can support this MobilePack by making a donation to cover meal costs or by volunteering to package food at the event. Donations may be given immediately. Volunteer registration NOW OPEN AT https://give.fmsc.org/feedtheneedstl.
About Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide. We at FMSC are thankful for our friends of all backgrounds and beliefs that join together with us to pack these meals, because we all believe that every child deserves food, hope, and a future. FMSC meals are hand-packed by volunteers and sent to an incredible network of partner organizations who distribute them to those in need. FMSC meals are Vegan, Kosher, and Halal certified to ensure that they are acceptable to those that need them. More than 1.3 million volunteers packed nearly 365 million FMSC meals in 2018. More than 91 percent of total donations go directly to feed kids.
