The fifth annual King of the Slab Car/Bike Show will be held August 17 in Dallas. We need both male and female volunteers to assist with different stages of the show:
set-up 8 am - 12 pm
Car Show 12-5 pm
Concert 1-8 pm
This event consistently attracts a patrons who bring their families, stay for the day, and purchase food and other items from vendors. Volunteers will be needed for a variety of tasks, including food and beverage service.

Rhyme-N-Reason Foundation assists youth through education, collaboration, professional development and cultural exchange. Based on the philosophy of mutual support and respect inherent in the global hip hop community, the Foundation recognizes the importance of education as central to the well-being of individuals, communities and nations. RNR provides opportunities to engage in the creation of a prosperous and meaningful future for all.
Description
RNR was founded in Cape Coast, Ghana in 2007, and in Jackson, Mississippi three years later. We have consistently hosted music and art events in locations as diverse as Hawassa, Ethiopia; Jackson, Mississippi; and the San Carlos Apache Nation in Arizona. RNR is the publisher of Telling Our Own Stories, books of young people's writing and art which we distribute free of charge. We host or collaborate with other orgnizations for projects and events that focus on art, literacy and entrepreneurship. We mentor undersderved youth in and beyond our own communities, and providie tuition fees for talented students in Ethiopia and Uganda who otherwise would be unable to attend school.

- We ask that volunteers stay for one entire portion of the event, if possible. Anyone who wishes to assist during additional segments would be very welcome.
