With over 40 million adults reading at below 5th grade levels, adult literacy continues to be a problem in the United States. Even in our own backyard, the rate of illiteracy in Orange County is staggering with over 400,000 people struggling to read even basic materials.
Join the board of Newport / Mesa ProLiteracy to help make a difference in the lives of those who need it. Board meets 6 times / year. There are many opportunities to use your skills and help others succeed!
