ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY

Jump in behind the scenes and join us in preparing the meals on wheels for our seniors! Kitchen Assistants needed to help plate and seal meals on our assemble line.

Meals on wheels are prepared daily to serve over 2000 seniors in the eight counties of Northern Kentucky, Hamilton County and Butler County, and three counties in Dayton, Ohio.

Our kitchen is in operation Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed from 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

To foster and support seniors who seek to stay in their homes as long as possible through the provision of essential home-based services.

Description

Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY provides Meals-On-Wheels, medical and specialized transportation, and independent living assistance services to seniors and disabled individuals in Greater Cincinnati and surrounding areas. Our programs also include Pet Portions, which provides free food to our clients cats and dogs, and PetKare, which provides clients with vouchers to be used at local select veterinary facilities for their pet's care. Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY also partners with more than 60 WesleyLinks churches to help seniors in their congregations secure information and services that will help them stay in their homes as long as possible.
