Mission Statement
Mended Little Hearts is a national non-profit program that empowers families affected by CHD through peer-to-peer support, education, awareness, hospital programs, advocacy and connecting families with needed resources to improve quality of life. Mended Little Hearts inspires hope in families of children born with congenital heart defects and lets them know they are not alone.
Description
Every 15 minutes a child is born with CHD, but due to a lack of awareness about CHD, many families are thrust into a world of unknowns as they try to navigate their journey with CHD and care for a child with a chronic illness. Mended Little Hearts is there for them in the hospital and once they get home.
