Keep our childcare facility in great shape for the children staying at the Nursery!
The Nursery is a respite overnight childcare program serving up to 20 children ages 0-6 daily. Help us maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for kiddos during their visit. We're looking for a skilled handyperson to spend a half to a full day on any or all of the following projects:
- Use adhesive to repair/replace ripped sections of wallpaper in hallways (experience required)
- Fill, prime and paint wall cracks in bedrooms
- Repair ceiling/floor tiles
- Hang climbing bars in the playroom
- Reattach carpet sections to baseboards

The mission of the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery is to end child abuse and neglect and create strong and healthy families.
Description
The Crisis Nursery provides voluntary, parent-initiated overnight residential care for children newborn through age six. Children can stay at the Crisis Nursery for up to 72-hours while their parent/guardian(s) work to alleviate their crisis. Additional services offered include a 24-hour crisis helpline and home visiting/mental health support.
