Our new SODO Community Market has officially open, and we are recruiting volunteers to help out on our Monday evening shift, 4:15pm-7:30pm. We need a few extra hands for the following roles:
Market: greet and check-in guests when they arrive at the market, keep displays stocked with product, assist guests as needed and man the check-out station.
Back-of-house: Repack staples for distribution, sort donations, set-up for the following day & other tasks as needed.
We're in particular need of help on the following dates:
Monday, July 8
Monday, July 15
Monday, Jul7 22

Description
Northwest Harvest collects and distributes food to more than 375 independent food banks, hot meal programs, and high need schools across Washington State without proof of need. We provide over 2 million meals every month to individuals and families in need. We also run one food bank of our own, the Cherry Street Food Bank in Seattle.
Northwest Harvest is unable to provide court-related community service.

- In order to best support smooth operations, we ask volunteers to plan on being with us for the shift start/end times and durations as scheduled.
- Our minimum age for volunteering is 9 years. Volunteers between 9-15 years must have a parent or guardian volunteering alongside them. Volunteers between 16-17 years may volunteer on their own but need a signed permission form which we provide.
