Keep the outdoor play spaces and grounds beautiful for children at the Nursery!

Green thumbs work may include:

  • Weeding flower beds and boulevard areas
  • Trimming shrubs and trees
  • Cutting back tall grasses
  • Mulching
  • Trash pickup along the sidewalk
Looking for volunteers available weekly or bi-weekly [throughout spring and summer] to join gardening crew on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings from 10am-1pm.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery is to end child abuse and neglect and create strong and healthy families.

Description

The Crisis Nursery provides voluntary, parent-initiated overnight residential care for children newborn through age six. Children can stay at the Crisis Nursery for up to 72-hours while their parent/guardian(s) work to alleviate their crisis. Additional services offered include a 24-hour crisis helpline and home visiting/mental health support.
