Many families have to choose between rent or food. The Dream Center alleviates one choice by providing emergency food assistance, providing groceries through a personal touch, and communicating a positive message to each individual/family.

Volunteers are needed every Tuesday morning from 9AM to 12PM, Thursday evening from 4PM to 6PM, and the first Saturday of every month from 9AM to 12PM.

The Augusta Dream Center exists to serve low income, homeless, and underserved individuals and families in the Augusta/South Augusta communities. It is our hope that through building relationships, providing community, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ that we are able to remove barriers and help people reach their fullest potential. Our vision is to build a community of resilient people whose lives have been changed through God’s love.

Description

Loving God, loving people and serving the world is at the very heart of the Dream Center. Each month, volunteers come together to serve the people of Augusta in various ways. It is our hope that through the love that is shown, people’s lives will be changed and our city will become stronger. We believe in doing whatever it takes to strengthen families and showing kindness to all! Each week we give away groceries, clothes, cook meals, and we always have fun!
