Special Olympics North Carolina is hosting Fall Tournament this November 1st - 3rd in the Charlotte area. This tournament will showcase the talents of over 1,000 athletes with the assistance of more than 1,000 volunteers.

We are looking for Event Security Managers to volunteer from one to three days of Fall Tournament.

Event Security Managers will assist in providing a safe environment for the athletes at all the events. These managers will work alongside an experienced team of leadership volunteers and staff one of eight venues in the Charlotte, Matthews, and Indian Trail area. Advance planning meetings and site visits will provide managers with the tools to oversee a small group of volunteers who will follow established protocols. Volunteers will be assigned to a venue hosting one of six sporting events.

If you are interested in this essential volunteer opportunity, please provide your contact information so we can share more details or you can contact us directly at volunteers@sonc.net.
