Our hospice program is seeking compassionate and empathetic bereavement volunteers to join our team! You will receive hands-on experience working with our Bereavement Coordinator to provide grief support to families following the passing of a loved one. Responsibilities include but are not limited to placing bereavement calls to the surviving family members of patients who have died to assess for bereavement support and provide information. Volunteer will be trained to identify bereaved individuals need for one-on-one counseling or phone calls from a bereavement counselor.

The hospice team provides care to patients in their own home.
