Are you passionate about history? Are you interested in learning more about the history of Lewiston-Auburn and the Industrial Period? Furthermore, do you enjoy sharing that history with others? Then you are the perfect person to become a tour guide. Museum L-A is looking to grow its family of Volunteers, therefore if this position speaks to you feel free to apply.
We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, engaging and have strong verbal communication skills. We will train volunteers about how to do a tour as well as providing facts to give a well informed guided tour.
Volunteering at Museum L-A is very meaningful work, dynamic and always offers a variety of opportunities and experiences. Here, you truly understand why the expression "You learn something new every day" exists.
