The Philadelphia Chapter of the National Canine Cancer Foundation is partnering up with Manayunk Development Corp. to bring you the areas first PUP Crawl on Saturday August 24 th!

Yes, We said PUP because it's the Crawl WITH Your Dog.

New for 2019, the Manayunk Pup Crawl will be a part of our very popular Dog Day of Summer event. Celebrate our four-legged friends with a day full of pet-friendly vendors, activities, pet adoptions, food vendors, and more as we fight for the 1 in 3 dogs that will be diagnosed with canine cancer.

Registration pick-up opens at 11 AM and ends at 1PM, with the Crawl going until 4 PM.
We need volunteers to help set-up beginning at 9:30 AM, check-in Crawlers, and work the NCCF Merchandise booth.
Shifts -
9:30AM to 1PM
12:45 PM to 4:30 PM

Please list what shift you can help with as well as let us know if there is an area you have mad skills like selling, folding, organization, social media....we can use all the help. Students needing volunteer hours are welcome! This is a family friendly event, groups and teens are welcome!

Event description: As the sun shines down on a hot summer day, keep cool with drinks, water, ice-cream, cock-tails and wagging ones too...Yes, WE let the dogs out. Check-in with the Philly chapter of the National Canine Cancer Foundation at the corner of 107 Levering and Main, pick up your map, Official Pup Crawl tee, Tito’s Vodka Crawl cup, bandanna, and Pup Crawl sWAG bag. Grab your leash and head up and down Main Street showing your Pink Paw Crawl bracelet at Official Crawl Stops for free treats, special food and drink discounts and specials.

Mission Statement

The National Canine Cancer Foundation is a nationwide, contribution funded, 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to eliminating Cancer as a major health issue in dogs by funding grants directly to Cancer researchers who are working to save dogs lives by finding cures, better treatments and accurate, cost effective diagnostic methods in dealing with canine Cancer. The purpose of the Foundation’s Research Grant Program is to encourage and provide grant support for basic, pre-clinical and clinical research in high impact and innovative cancer research, which is intended to develop innovative approaches to a cure, treatment, diagnosis or prevention of cancers in dogs. The program fosters collaboration between basic and clinical scientists with the intent of enhancing the transfer of basic research findings to clinical usefulness.

Description

The National Canine Cancer Foundation's goal is to educate pet owners, spread awareness about Canine Cancer and fund research crucial to finding better treatments, earlier and more accurate diagnostic methods, as well as finding a cure for Canine Cancer.
