Attention! The city of Raleigh will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest Soul Train Dance. This record is for the greatest number of people participating in the Soul Train dance simultaneously at a single venue. The current record is 426 people. Raleigh we can break this record!
Volunteer Duties: Bring the energy and the fun! Volunteers will be needed to help encourage people to continue dancing as we build up the longest Soul Train Line.
Volunteer Impact: Volunteers will be helping to create a lasting memory for our community as we attempt to break the Guinness World Record!
Work Environment: This event will be outside on a multipurpose field so there may be the opportunity of some uneven ground. There will be bathrooms on site. This event will also have music and a large crowd.
Volunteer Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. All volunteers will need to fill out a release form. Be ready to bring the energy and to interact with people. This oportunity can not count towards court ordered/suggested community service hours.
Special Instructions: Water will be provided for this event. Be sure and wear comfortable aerobics clothes and closed-toe shoes.
Per Department Policy this opportunity can not count towards court ordered/suggested community service hours.
