The American Cinematheque is a non-prift cultural film exhibition organization dedicated to the art of the moving picture in all it's forms. The AC believes that cinema is a communal experience with the power to entertain, enlighten and inspire. We build a diverse and engaged film community through immersive film curation, conversation, and presentation. We bridge the filmmaker to the audience and film history to its future.
You can have fun, see a movie and Volunteer all at the same time. Come to a Volunteer Orientation Meeting given monthly at one of our historic theatres and find out how you can help. It will open up a whole new world to you.
