Help recruit adult volunteers and girls to become Girl Scout members! Collect interest cards at back to school nights, school fairs and community festivals or be the second adult at a troop formation meeting where you might lead the girls in a fun Girl Scout activity while their adults get the troop organized and ready to roll.
You'll never be the only Girl Scout representative at a location--an experienced Girl Scout staff member or volunteer will be right by your side! All volunteers will be trained and directly supported by a member of our staff assigned to your community. Everything you need will be provided!
This is a low-maintenance volunteer opportunity perfect for the person that was always interested but weary of the time commitment. But, if you find that you want to be more involved, there's always more opportunities so don't worry!
This world needs more empowered, female leaders and you could be a part of making that happen. Sign up today and a Girl Scout staff member will reach out and provide further details and next steps.

Mission Statement
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Description
Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
