Butterfly house docents are the individuals who lead tours and answer questions during hours of operation 10:00am to 5:00pm Docents provide care for the live insects and assist with the gardening when needed. While prior experience with butterflies or education is encouraged, a passion fro butterfly conversation is all you need to get started. You will be trained to lead tours and to work with all stages of the butterfly life cycle.

We are also looking for attendants that keep the butterfly house operating with the focus on the garden maintenance. Watering and butterfly/caterpillar caretaking is needed during off hours. This is an important role and one that allows those who do not want to teach to still participate in the butterfly house.
