Sammamish Friends is a 501c3 that is looking for board members to help run the organization. Traditionally we've had former Parks and Planning Commissioners, City Councilmembers, and interested citizens help grow our non-profit. We're interested in anyone who has a deep appreciation for natural spaces, trails, parks, and habitat stewardship. Come to a meeting and see what we're about.

Description
Sammamish Friends is a 10 year old nonprofit that strives to make Sammamish a better place for all residents by practicing inclusivity, leading with positivity, engaging people respectfully, and providing opportunities for service and personal growth through community engagement. We support small nonprofit incubation, advocacy and ambassadorship for community activities that connect people and protect the environment. Active programs include Sammamish Seniors, Kids Mud Run, Sammamish Stewards (Wildlife Habitat, Stormwater Stewards), Emerald Necklace Trail, Sammamish Walks, and FrightTown East.
