The Human Projects provides free human rights educational materials and lesson plans to educators around the world. We are looking for volunteers interested in developing fun and engaging lesson plans to help educators bring human rights into their classroom.

This is a very flexible volunteer opportunity. We would still love to work with you if you only have time to complete one or two lesson plans. If you are interested in a larger time commitment and an official position on the team, we have volunteer Education Specialist positions available here: https://www.thehumanprojects.com/join-the-international-team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop age appropriate human rights lesson plans

  • Edit lesson plans developed by other volunteers

The Human Projects is a global youth run nonprofit empowering young leaders to solve human rights issues in their own communities.

Description

We work directly with young people in 23 countries to make sure that they have the support they need to solve human rights issues in their own communities. We also provide educational materials to classrooms around the world and we’re piloting a new program, Young Human Rights Changemakers, to bring the Human Projects model of youth led change to classrooms around the world.
