Do you love to travel and meet people from around the world?? HI New Orleans is looking for volunteers to lead events for travelers at our bustling hostel which hosts travelers from across the globe. Our volunteers help lead events in hostel, as well as tours and outings with the goal of cultural exchange and increasing cultural awareness among our travelers.

Hostelling International USA (HI USA) is a nonprofit, member organization founded on an enduring belief in the power of travel to foster a deeper understanding of people, places, and the world around. HI USA promotes a dynamic community of global citizens who have the wisdom and humanity to actively make the world a better place.

Who We Are

We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
