Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) is seeking a candidate for a part-time volunteer position as an Administrative Assistant. This position requires highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic,passionate,and personable individuals with an interest in community health and well-being. ICCI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, young adults, and families in vulnerable communities to address issues confronting their well-being through innovative and sustainable strategies that focus on adopting healthy lifestyles. ICCI provides excellent empowerment services in three key areas: 1) Health Solutions for Diverse Populations, 2) Economic Empowerment Education and Training and 3) Youth, Young Adult and Family Outreach. Volunteerism is at the heart of what we do and beyond providing service to our community. ICCI volunteers are able to receive training and development, as well as log community service hours. This valued team member is responsible for providing administrative and development support. The time commitment for this position is 5-10 hours per week (minimum). This Administrative Assistant position is unpaid, however, upon request we are happy to reimburse mileage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support
- Data entry
- Office organization
- Outreach material preparation
- Provide development support
- Grant proposal support
- Assist with community outreach efforts by finding new partnering sites, marketing upcoming programs and events, and attending promotional events
- Assist with fundraising initiatives
- Finding and developing content for our online initiatives
- Others duties as assigned
- Dedication to creating change in our community and positively impacting lives in our community
- High school diploma
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and detail orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and be self-starter, comfort with ambiguity
- Ability to exercise good judgment in a quickly manner in difficult situations and unexpected challenges
- Must have a valid drivers license and/or reliable with transportation
- Must be able to work some evenings and weekends
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Bi-lingual abilities are a plus, but not required
- Relevant work/educational experience is a plus
