Come help Equality North Carolina to run our table at Charlotte Pride Festival and march with us in the Charlotte Pride Parade! We will be gathering newsletter signups, giving away free stickers and informational materials, telling visitors about our programs, and selling some of our t-shirts. It should be a fun and engaging opportunity for volunteers who like to work with people and want to learn more about LGBTQ advocacy in North Carolina. Staff members will be present throughout the festival to collaborate with volunteers on setup, breakdown, and handling questions from visitors to our booth.
On Saturday, August 17th, we will need volunteers to help table in 2 hour shifts from 10:00am to 10:30pm. On Sunday, August 18th, we need volunteers to table in 2 hour shifts from 10:00am to 6:30pm. Additionally, we need volunteers to march in the Pride Parade with us from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday. We may also need several volunteers for events on the evening of Friday, August 16th. Volunteers will receive training and detailed instructions leading up to the event. Everyone is welcome! Sign up to join us here: https://forms.gle/ZhdjoZXWvzv3Mwq26
