At Harriet Ruth, Inc. Our mission is to build a better Baltimore through partnerships with major construction companies, the City of Baltimore and its citizens. Our vision is to rebuild impoverished neighborhoods by equipping low skilled and underemployed minorities between the ages of 18-45 in need of a second chance. Revitalized construction homes are offered back to the citizens of Baltimore as affordable housing through our program.
Are you passionate about the affordable housing crisis in Baltimore? Do you want to help the youth of Baltimore gain skills while helping build a better Baltimore? We are always looking for volunteers to join our Board of Directors to help us make our vision a reality. We are excited to have you join the team!
We currently are seeking three (3) Board Members who want to help fight poverty in Baltimore City and County. Being a member of Harriet Ruth, Inc. Board of Directors provides you with a unique opportunity to:
- Contribute to the success of the organization
- Make a positive impact on the lives of families in local communities
- Serve your community
- Expand your network and meet people with similar interests
Regular board meetings are held monthly. Each meeting is approximately one to two hours in duration. Board members are expected to participate in strategic planning, fundraising initiatives, and various committees.
