PEARLS Restorative Foster Care Court is currently recruiting VOLUNTEERS & MENTORS for our 2021-2022 Program Year.

The mission of PEARLS Court is to invest in female girls ages 14 to 18 who have been placed in foster care. By providing therapeutic care, case management, life skills training, and mentoring, PEARLS (Preparation, Esteem, Achievement. Resiliency, Learning, Strength, and Stamina) Court supports them through aging out. PEARLS Court serves a vulnerable population of female teens who are permanent members of the foster care system by providing a network of support including a one-on-one relationship with a caring adult (volunteer mentors) who will help them to value their whole selves and inherent strengths.

Volunteer Positions:
Mentor
Support Mentor
Special Events Volunteer- Speaker/Teacher

PEARLSCourt will meet once a month at the Bexar County Courthouse. PEARLS Court will also plan Days of Service and Days of Opportunity for young women in foster care and their mentors to participate in.
