Brighten the day for a senior sister living at Light of Hearts Villa!
Light of Hearts Villa serves seniors of all faiths. Several sisters from the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland reside here as well.
One of our sisters who lives in the memory care unit would greatly benefit from having regular visitors.
As a Friendly Visitor, you could take her for walks around the building, in the courtyard, or just spend time with her viewing and discussing the artwork that this talented sister has created over the years.
We are seeking a couple of volunteers who would be willing to visit with this sister once each week on a day that is convenient for them. A good time for this sister to receive visitors is around 9:30 A.M.
A little time and kindness will go a long way in maintaining the health of this sister!

Description
The Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland are an independent Roman Catholic women's religious congregation founded in Cleveland in 1850. We trace our roots to St. Angela Merici, who founded the company of St. Ursula in Brescia, Italy in 1535. In August of 1850, three Ursuline Sisters and a laywoman arrived in Cleveland from Boulogne-sur-mer, France. Within a month of their arrival, the women opened a school for 300 students. The Ursuline Sisters played a major role in the development of the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Cleveland. In the past thirty years, the sisters' ministries have expanded to include pastoral and spiritual ministry, health care, social work, and advocacy.
