Are you ready to change someone's life? You can by becoming and adult literacy tutor! Working one-on-one for an hour or two a week you can help an adult learn to read or improve their reading skills.

"Every important social issue is impacted by low literacy. When individuals learn how to read, write, do basic math, and use computers, they have the power to lift themselves out of poverty, lower health care costs, find and keep sustainable employment, and ultimately change their lives." (

Sign up today! Read Lakeland is looking for tutors in Bartow, Lakeland and Mulberry. They provide the training and materials - you provide the enthusiasm for reading.
