ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army

Friendship Club is a weekly program for seniors that is held at The Salvation Army from September - May. This is an opportunity for seniors around the community to gather for a meal (lunch), fellowship and a program.

We are looking for volunteers to present to Friendship Club. This can be something educational, creative, or entertaining! Some examples of things that have been done in the past:

  • Medicare Presentation
  • Crafts
  • Music Lessons
  • Chair Exercises
  • Trivia
  • Nutrition for Seniors
  • Cooking/Baking lessons
  • Sharing stories from Mission Trips
  • Games/Hobbies
Each presentation/activity only needs to last about one hour. We are open to any ideas!
