Oak-Leyden is looking for individuals interested in nonprofits who'd like to be on our board and various committees: Finance, Development (Fundraising), Board Governance, Program. This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on with helping to fulfill our mission to empower children and adults with developmental disabilities.

The mission of Oak Leyden Developmental Services is to help people with developmental disabilities reach their highest potential.
Description
To accomplish this mission, we have developed 8 core values. Oak-Leyden recognizes the dignity of each individual; we support personal choices whenever possible and safe; we promote the inclusion of each individual services within the larger community; we facilitate and encourage family involvement and particiipation; we strive to discover new and innovative programs to enhance the lives of people with disabilities; we use resources in a manner that provides the maximum benefit for individual served; and Oak-Leyden maintains a welcoming environment that ensures attentive and responsive care for all participants.
