If you are interested in becoming a volunteer leader for our Beach & Riverside Cleanup, held September 21, 2019 in partnership with the Oregon Lottery, contact Jon Schmidt at jon@solveoregon.org or 971-346-2703. The Beach & Riverside Cleanup attracts hundreds of volunteers, and it is the perfect opportunity to plug into the power of volunteerism to get a community project accomplished. All SOLVE volunteer leaders receive project support, such as supplies, volunteer registration management, outreach support, and a grant up to 100$ for project supplies. At SOLVE our mission is simple: Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewadship. We do that through facilitating hands-on volunteer opportunities across the state that help to remove litter and restore native habitat through out our natural areas and neighborhoods. The majority SOLVE events are created and led by local volunteer leaders with a stake in the health and strength of the local community. We also offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from one time participation at a local event, to leadership roles on a local of regional level. We look forward to connecitng with you soon to help care for an outdoor area you love in Oregon!
