Help strengthen your community! In this very important role, you will serve meals to seniors, help cook, set-up, clean-up and many more tasks that make a HUGE difference in the lives of others. Your presence gives seniors companionship, trust, and the knowledge that someone cares. At the Jurupa Valley location, the lunch crowd numbers 70 to 80+ participants.
Volunteers are usually needed mornings between Mon - Fri, 9:30 AM -12:30 PM or 8 AM - Noon. Shifts are 3- to 4- hours, one or more days per week on a regular basis. We also have one-time special events that groups can participate in for special days (Mother's/Father's Days, Thanksgiving, etc.). Sign up here or contact Kathy at 951-275-2055 x1255 (kknox @fsaca.org).
Healthy lunches are served in other locations in Riverside and San Bernardino counties including Moreno Valley, Menifee, Fontana, Redlands, Calimesa and Yucaipa. Family Service Association is one of the largest nonprofits in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties serving over 3,500 meals daily to seniors in need.
