The Cranmer Park/Hilltop Civic Association is teaming up with Eco-Cycle for the first time to make their Cranmer Park Community Picnic a Zero Waste event! Join us at Cranmer Park for a good old fashioned Independence Day picnic on Tuesday, July 2nd from 6:00pm until the last sparkle of the Glendale Fireworks, beautifully visible from the park.
We will be working hard to divert all event waste from the landfill, and our success hinges on volunteers like YOU to help out! Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie," making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations.
Please sign up to your desired shift-s below and email melissa@ecocycle.org for any questions. Additional instructions for participating will be sent via email by Friday, June 29th.
