ORGANIZATION: Eco-Cycle

  • 2 people are interested

The city of Westminster is teaming up with Eco-Cycle to make their Independence Day a Zero Waste event. Your celebration will be beneficial to everyone: your friends and planet Earth! Join us at the City Park-activities, food vendors, beer garden, and performances start at 4 p.m. Concert begins at 7 p.m. and the fireworks go off at 9:15 p.m on July 4th.

We will be working hard to divert all event waste from the landfill, and our success hinges on volunteers like YOU to help out! Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie," making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. There are three 2-hours shifts: 4-6pm, 6-8pm, 8-10pm.

We are offering tickets to the Westy Craft Brew Fest ($35 value) to volunteers who sign up for 2 shifts!

Please sign up to your desired shift-s below and email melissa@ecocycle.org for any questions. Additional instructions for participating will be sent via email by Monday, July 1st.
