So often in life the smallest things can bring joy and comfort, and for many of our end of life patients, that joy is often experiences through petting or spending time with a therapy animal. It has been said that animals have the ability to reach people when nothing else can so your gift of time through a pet therapy animal is truly a wonderful gift to share!

Must be over 18 years of age to apply and have access to transportation. A valid pet therapy certification is required for these positions.
Our patients are located throughout the entire San Diego county both in home and in facilities so volunteers in the entire area are welcome!

Bridge is a patient and family centered hospice that is dedicated to "connecting" our patients and their families to excellent End-of-Life care.
We have patients located throughout San Diego county in a variety of settings. Bridge's goal is to ensure that every patient in our care is provided with the best team of people possible, and that includes volunteers!
Our administrative office is located in University City and we are always looking for volunteers wanting to assist in the offices as well!
