Canvassing neighborhoods to hand out information regarding Donations and Deconstruction Services through The Restore.
We will start at the Restore with an introduction about the materials you will be handing out to neighbors in the chosen neighborhood. We will then split up into groups of two to hand out the materials.
Lunch will be provided for any volunteers that participate.

Description
Tulsa Habitat for Humanity is a local, non-profit affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We work in partnership with low-income people to eliminate substandard housing conditions at a local level. The Tulsa affiliate began in 1988, and has helped more than 280 families move into new homes.
Tulsa Habitat is a "hand up," not a "hand out" program. All families partner with by committing to serving a pre-determined number of sqeat equity hours, by committing to working side-by-side building their home with volunteers, as well as committ to purchasing the home from the Tulsa Habitat with a no-interest, at-cost mortgage. This allows the family's payments on the new home to remain extremely reasonable.
