Mission:
Our purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty. Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures. We provide each client with professional attire to secure employment, but we are about much more than simply a new outfit. Besides physically equipping the client with apparel and accessories, our programs furnish her with a confidence that she carries forever and the knowledge that she can actively define her life, the direction she takes and what success means to her.
With a small staff of 3.5, we could not do any of this without volunteers...
Volunteer Opportunity:
We have big plans for re-modeling our space! First step? Patching and painting-DONE!! Now we need to assemble our new décor and furniture. Join us in your comfy clothes, ready to decipher manuals and put pieces together. If you love building IKEA furniture, then this volunteer opportunity is for YOU! The more the merrier - so please bring friends, family, co-workers, etc.
The goal is to create a beautiful space for the women we serve that exudes dignity and respect from the moment they walk in the door.
