Summer Meals Program, was established by USDA to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session.
The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, in partnership with community organizations, will be providing healthy summer meals to children and teens July 6 - August 7.
Volunteers will be needed Monday through Friday between 10:30 am-12:30pm to deliver meals within about 15 minutes of the Food Shuttle office. Because a brief online orientation is required along with a background check, the ideal volunteer can commit to at least 3 delivery times.
Got a group that wants to serve? Adopt a route or two for the summer! Adopt one day each week! Adopt a whole week!
Must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license and use your own vehicle. (please no pets)
