Computer Literacy Tutor
ORGANIZATION: Literacy Volunteers of Wayne County, Inc.
Please visit the new page to apply.
Join the Digital Literacy program as we educate job seekers and other adults on the basics of computer use.
Literacy Volunteers will provide you with the curriculum and training for one-on-one tutoring to ensure that students learn the skills they need to apply for jobs, communicate, and bridge the digital divide.
Lessons will be held either at the main office in Lyons, NY or meeting your student in a public area, such as libraries. Digital Literacy tutors don’t need to have advanced computer knowledge in order to be able to help. At a minimum, a Digital Literacy tutor will need to have a solid foundation in computer use. That said, we're also happy to welcome Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher enthusiasts as well.
