The PACC has a network of gardens throughout our campus and we welcome gardening volunteers to join us Monday thru Friday during the morning. A typical shift is 2 to 3 hours, and can take place anytime from 8 am until 12 noon.
No prior gardening experience is necessary and ages 16+ are welcome. We provide gloves and any tools you might need. Please bring any snacks, water or sun protection you prefer.
Volunteers work alongside staff and other volunteers on a variety of garden tasks like planting, pruning, weeding, and watering. This work helps to care for the garden, but it's also an opportunity for volunteers to learn new skills and develop their individual gardening interests with the guidance of our expert staff.
Please call us at least 1-2 days ahead of time to schedule you for a shift!
