We are looking for the next generation of activists and leaders in fighting poverty at home and abroad. The REAL Change Organizing and Advocacy Fellowship is a hands-on training program for young people between the ages of 18-30. During the yearlong program, fellows learn how to work with the media, their communities, and policymakers to create change.
REAL Change participants receive a crash course in advocacy at the RESULTS International Conference in Washington, DC. After three days of coaching and inspiration, fellows spend the final day of the conference on Capitol Hill and speak directly with members of Congress and their staff. Throughout the rest of the year, fellows receive ongoing training on biweekly calls. They hone their advocacy skills by taking actions ranging from writing letters to the editor to hosting events to meeting with their members of Congress in-district.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for creating change and fighting poverty.
- Ability to commit an average of 6 hours per week.
- Commitment to join biweekly conference calls on Wednesday nights and monthly national calls on Saturday afternoons.
- Preference given to those with past experience in student or community activism, political campaigns, or other anti-poverty or social justice focused activities.
- Be between the ages of 18 - 30 at the start of the Fellowship.
- Attend the RESULTS International Conference in July in Washington, DC. RESULTS will cover flights, hotels, and some meals. There is a $200 fee to cover certain activities which cannot be waived. RESULTS will provide resources to help Fellows fundraise the $200 fee.

For over 40 years, RESULTS and RESULTS Educational Fund have been shining light on critical, effective solutions to poverty. By combining the powerful voices of civic advocates with research and oversight of U.S. anti-poverty efforts at home and abroad, RESULTS has been changing government priorities and people’s lives.
