We have an exciting new volunteer opportunity to become a Personal Health Partners volunteer intern. This position will work in the Good Samaritan Emergency Department and/or the Parkland Emergency room . We want to get a better understanding of the social determinants that are affecting our patients. In this position, you will be working with patients in the Emergency Department as well as going out into the community to research different resources that might be available. To get a better understanding our what the position would be, I have attached the task list.

After reviewing, the department liaison and I will be reaching out to schedule an interview for those selected. In the follow-up email, there will be more information about the onboarding process.
Important Information:
- Since this position is in the Emergency Department, applicant must be at least 18 years old
- A valid driver’s license and access to transportation is required
- Internship is a weekly, 4 hour shift for 6 months
